Performing Arts Committee sponsored by Crawford County Arts The Performing Arts Committee has two primary responsibilities. First, the committee funds and coordinates artists to do presentations at all of the local schools. We focus on serving all the public school districts at all levels. Some performances are focused on all students and others are presented in a “master class” situation focused on a certain subset of artistic students. The committee strives to bring quality educational programs to the students of Crawford County. The second, and probably better-known facet of the Performing Arts Committee involves presentations to the public. In conjunction with facilities such as Lincoln Trail College, we are able to bring artistic performances to the area at minimal, and sometimes at no cost to the public. The committee strives to bring as many quality performance experiences into Crawford County while encompassing all facets of the performing arts.
